Do we discipline kids with the hope that they will develop self-discipline? Le Tellier asks us to consider the following definition for self-discipline:
Self-discipline is doing what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, when you don't want to do it. Love it!
Chapter 2 ~ The Context Connection focused on the important role that we as educators have in society. It offers both the celebration of our good deeds & the impact that we have on students. It gives a reminder that our actions will yield results. Our job is to ensure these are positive & successful. It is important to believe in ourselves, our profession, and our students.
